Amazing Roads
If these names mean anything to you the tour includes the Stelvio, Furka, Grimsel, Grossglockner, Umbrail, Maloja and more legendary passes.
Never heard of these epic roads? Not sure where they are located? You don’t need to worry. Every day you will experience plenty of curves, hairpins, mountains, and valleys. Each road has its own identity. You’ll come to appreciate how they were built.

Amazing Towns: France
Get revved up in Grenoble, capital of the Alps. It’s only fitting to start the Mega Alpine Motorcycle Tour in this Olympic city. Get over your jet-lag, get some rest after your flight. Enjoy local specialties and vibrant social scene. Strolling around this historic city, you’ll notice it’s completely surrounded by mountains. That’s your guarantee for good riding and gives you a great idea of what’s in store.

Amazing Towns: France
Chamonix Mont Blanc: get up close and personal with the highest peak in the Alps (15,777 feet). This towering giant will blow you away. Check out the glaciers and feel their cooling effect. Take the cable cars to 3842m altitude to get a closer look at this behemoth.

Amazing Towns: France
Briancon (1,326m) is the highest city in France. This citadel is surrounded by several forts and ramparts. Only 15 km from the current border with Italy, Briancon was of strategic importance. Vastly outnumbered its residents successfully prevented the Austrians from capturing the city in 1815.

Amazing Towns: France
Barcelonnette dates back to the era of the Roman Empire. Throughout the ages it has been hotly contested and has been controlled by different countries. Today it’s surrounded by ski resorts and attracts many riders from all over Europe. The town is small and quaint. The best feature is that it is at the base of the highest paved road in France, the Bonnette Pass.(8907 ft).

Amazing Towns: Switzerland
Interlaken & Gruyeres: check out serene Switzerland. You’ll feel like you’re in a postcard.
Interlaken became a tourist haven in the 1800’s as a result of numerous artists painting regional landscapes. The architecture heavily reflects the 1800’s. Surrounded by mountains, notably the Eiger. Once thought that the north face was impossible to climb since so many perished trying. It was only in 1938 when a team successfully climbed the north face.
Visiting Gruyeres takes you back to the Medieval era. This well preserved village will definitely impress. Gruyeres lends its name to the famous cheese (the one with the large holes). After a stroll around the cobblestone streets, an omlette made with Gruyeres cheese or a fondue would be most appropriate.

Amazing Towns: Austria
Innsbruck-this modern Olympic city flanked by the Alps dates back to the stone age. You’ll enjoy visiting the Old Town. Painted facades, large arcades and a vibrant energy. Don’t miss the Golden Roof, the most famous building in Innsbruck. The shiny copper tiled roof give it this moniker.

Amazing Towns: Austria
Hallstadt this quaint lakeside town is home to one of the oldest known salt mines. Until recently it was only accessible by boat. A victim of overtourism by hoardes of buses filled with tourists eager to take selfies for their instagram page. During your visit be mindful of the locals who have to take the throng of tourists day in and out.

Amazing Towns: Austria
Spittal Am der Drau dating back to the 1100’s saw action during the Napoleonic wars. Its name comes from a refuge that provided help and place to rest for travellers.

Amazing Towns: Italy
Italian Lakes: beautiful, romantic, peaceful. If you are traveling with your special someone, they’ll thank you for taking them on this tour.

Amazing Towns: Italy
You’ll get the royal treatment spending the night at a 14th century castle. You’ll feel like king (or queen) for the night. The castle is authentically furnished and has all the modern conveniences you want like wifi.

MotoGP Austria
Moto GP Spielberg: an awesome circuit, with awesome ambiance. Even non Moto GP fans will have a great time. Red Bull is your host and they know how to throw a good party. Entertainment, bands, airshow, stunt shows. You won’t need an energy drink to get charged up. The 2019 race was a nail biter from start to finish. Attendance is optional. If you’ve never been to a MotoGP you should go to soak up the atmosphere and see a demonstration of riding technique at 300 km/h.

I had a three-day weekend in Grenoble following a work-trip, and I feel like I couldn’t have made a better choice about how to spend those days. It is truly hard to imagine a more enjoyable motorcycling environment than what I found: beautiful, curvy mountain roads in every direction. The weather was perfect, every portion was a thrill. It’s hard to pick which part was the best – so many contenders! It’s motorcycle heaven.
